Keller of Destrehan, LA entered into eternal rest on January 12, 2016 at 8:05AM at the age of 88 years old. Beloved husband of Marilyn B. Keller. Father of Marilyn Edrington, David Keller, Lauren Keller Columbo (Gene), Philip Raymond Keller, Donna Keller Bivona (John) and Neal Keller. Grandchildren; Devan Keller, Kristin Keller(Jesse), Nicole Columbo, Derek Bivona, Alec Bivona, Craig Edrington, and one great grand-child; Kayleigh Murphy. He was the son of Alvin and Anna Louise Bourgeois Keller of Hahnville, LA. Tyrus was retired from Boh Bros Construction Co after 38 years of service. He also served in the U.S. Navy in WWII aboard the U.S.S. Carter Hall L.S.O #3 (1943-1946) in the Pacific Theater. Tyrus was the recipient of the Asiatic Pacific Campaign Medal and also awarded the Asiatic Pacific 3 stars Victory Medal, Philippine Lib 2 stars and other medals. Tyrus also received an honorable discharge from the U.S. Navy. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a visitation at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church, 13396 River Road Destrehan, LA 70047, on Friday, January 15, 2016 from 9:00 AM till 11:45AM, a Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 12 Noon.
