Inez Joy Hoefeld Lay passed away Sunday, March 20, 2016. A Native of New 
Orleans and a resident of Destrehan. 

She joins her beloved husband in Heaven, Leo Lay Sr. 

She is survived by her children; Patricia Watson (Johnny), Leo Lay (Former 
Alessandra Ravaioli), Karen Krieger (Lloyd), Gary Lay (Icel), Kevin Lay (Former 
Debra), 12 grandchildren, 16 great- grandchildren, and 1 great-great 
grandchild. She is also survived by 2 sisters, Elmeer and Doris, and a host of 
nieces, nephews, and family members. 

She is preceded in death by her parents; Herman and Inez Ramon Hoefeld, brother 
Ronald, two grandchildren; Mary and Christina, and one great- great grandchild, 
Jaxson.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a visitation at St. Charles 
Borromeo Catholic Church in Destrehan, LA on Thursday, March 24, 2016 at 10:30 
AM. A Liturgical service will be held at 12 PM. 

Interment to follow at St. Louis Cemetery III in New Orleans, LA. 

Arrangements under the direction of H.C. Alexander Funeral Home, Norco, LA.
