Please go to http://usgwarchives.net/la/stcharles/photos/obits/2016 and click on the name of interest. ========== Anthony "Brother" Migliore, a lifelong resident of St. Charles Parish, passed away November 19, 2016. He is survived by his loving wife, Martha Brewer Migliore, his children, Angela Matherne (late Sterley), Marsha Walters (William), Valerie Mule (Donald), Elizabeth Henderson (Fredy), and Dianne Mayeux (Dwayne). He is also survived by his grandchildren, Brad Walters, Blake Matherne, Danielle Hymel, Amy Fakier, Dustin Mule, Derek Mayeux, Amanda Roussel, Deborah Dinino, Matthew Walters, Joshua Henderson, Luke Henderson, and Dillon Henderson, as well as 11 great grandchildren and one on the way. He is preceded in death by his parents, Angelo and Sarah Bosco Migliore and his siblings, Mary Angela Haydel and Josie Weimer Tregre. He was a Charter member of Board of Directors of American Bank and Hibernia Bank, and a member of the Men's Ormond Golf Association. Brother spent his childhood in New Sarpy, LA. He and his two sisters, Josie & Mary, and his double first cousins, Mary, Anthony "Totsie" and Anna lived and worked in their father's grocery store, H & A Migliore Store. He met is beloved wife, Martha Elizabeth Brewer in Biloxi, Mississippi. Brother and his father, Angelo, established their grocery business in Good Hope, LA in 1951 where the business prospered from a neighborhood grocery to a Master Ship Chandler business. He and Martha worked side by side in the family business until he retired at 54 years old. Brother was the patriarch, the leader, the provider, the businessman, and the mentor to all of his children, sons-in-laws, grandchildren and great grandchildren. He set the bar for family values, making sure that everyone in this family was dedicated to one another just as he was to his loving wife for 67 years. Brother enjoyed traveling and playing golf with Martha and their friends. He will be truly missed by his five daughters, their husbands, grandchildren and great grandchildren. The family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to the staff of Ashton Manor Assisted Living in Luling and their private caregivers, Jane Ramee and Myrtis Franklin. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a visitation at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church, 13396 River Rd. Destrehan, LA on Wednesday, November 23, 2016 beginning at 10 AM. A Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 11:30 AM. Interment to follow in St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church mausoleum. ===================
