Pierce also was grandmother of Sara Flanagan (P.J.), Justin Patterson (Ashley), Kathryn Ayo (Anthony), Kristyn Tipton (Micah), Ryan Harlan, Andrew Harlan and Jacob Harlan. Great-grandmother of Tyler Desoto, Hunter Flanagan, Benny Flanagan, Cooper Flanagan, Juliet Brown-Marshowsky, Brooklyn Patterson and her mother, Trisha Langley, Justin Patterson Jr., Austin Ayo, Kinley Ayo and Ellie Tipton. Sister of Lynda Wallace (Bill), Martha Grace Watkins (Bill) and Suellen Dooley. Daughter of the late Tinsye Crozier Ball and Amos Terrell Ball. She also was survived by many nieces, nephews, other loving relatives and friends. Pierce was a resident of St. Charles Parish for 49 years. As a devout Christian and member of Bible Center Church in Luling, she loved her family, church, studying and teaching the Bible, singing, reading and traveling. As a Bible teacher, she devoted much of her life to spreading God’s word to the women of St. Charles Parish and shared this thought with her family, “I want to be remembered as someone who lived her life to please the Lord Jesus Christ.” While she will be sadly missed, her home is in heaven. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to the Bible Center Church in Luling or to the Susan G. Komen Foundation (www.komen.org). Mothe Funeral Homes is handling arrangements. ===================
