Joyce Marie Plauche, 77, passed in her home in Summit, Mississippi on November 
5, 2016 after a long courageous battle with cancer. 

She was born in New Orleans and a was a resident of Kenner for most of her 
life. 

She is survived by her loving companion for the past 12 years, Lawrence "Huck" 
Barry Sr., her children, Steven Plauche (Hilary), Charlene Norris (Robert), and 
her grandchildren, Ashley and Melanie Plauche and Kenneth and Catherine Norris. 

She was preceded in death by her husband of 44 years, Gerard Plauche, and her 
parents, Mrs. Reita Nunnery Arabie Willmouth and stepfather, Charles J. 
Willmouth. 

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Mass of Christian 
Burial at ST. CHARLES BORROMEO, 13396 River Road, Destrehan, on Thursday 
morning, November 10, 2016 at 11:00. 

Visitation will begin in church at 9:30. 

Interment will follow in ST. CHARLES BORROMEO adjoining church cemetery. 

In lieu of flowers, Masses in her memory are preferred.
