Constance Matis, age 87, passed away on Wednesday, August 25, 2010 at 5:34 pm. 
Beloved daughter of the late Salvador Matis and Annette Caillet Matis. Sister 
of Leeds Matis and the late Rita Matis, Flora Mae Valley and Frank Matis. Also 
survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. Ms. 
Matis worked for the Federal Government for 32 years as a Hearing Assistant 
with the Bureau of Hearing Appeals and retired in 1984. Relatives and friends 
are invited to attend the funeral. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Holy 
Rosary Catholic Church, 1 Rectory Ln., Hahnville, LA on Monday, August 30, 
2010 at 10:00 am. Visitation will be from 9:00 am until Mass time. Interment 
will follow in Holy Rosary Cemetery, Taft, LA. Condolences may be offered at
