Aurore Becnel D'Arensbourg, 92, on Tuesday, 22 Aug 2000. She was a native of Taft, LA and a
resident of Destrehan, LA for the past 2 years. Wife of the late Richard Joseph D'Arensbourg
Sr.; mother of Richard J. D'Arensbourg Jr., Geraldine Falgout and Lorraine Marmillion; daughter
of the late Eleanor Troxler Becnel and Maurice George Becnel; sister of the late Morris and
Elmore Becnel, Lula B. Haydel, and Leona B. Triche. Also survived by 10 grandchildren and 18
great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two grandchildren. Interment in Westlawn
Memorial Park Cemetery, Gretna, LA on Friday, 25 Aug 2000.
