Pauline Fonseca Folse, 84, a native of Gheens, LA and resident of Des Allemands, 
LA, died 19 Jul 2000. Burial was at St. Gertrude Cemetery, Des Allemands, on 
Friday, 21 Jul 2000. She was the mother of Daniel and David Folse and sister of 
Adele Cobert. She is also survived by 21 grandchildren, 32 great grandchildren and 
11 great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Alexie J. 
Folse; parents, Alidore and Armantine Plaissance Fonseca; son, Stanley Folse; brothers, 
Alidore, Ernest, Gillis, Jules, Telese, Roy and Joe Fonseca; and sisters, Adelene Folse, 
Melodia Thibodeaux, Alida Loupe and Victoria Rogers.
