He was a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II, having served in the Seabees. Survived by his wife of 58 years, Marie Dorothy "Dottie" Cambre Lambert, Baton Rouge; two daughters, Judith Lambert Matherne and Dorothy Lambert Bourgeois, both of Baton Rouge; four sons, John H. Jr., Lafayette, LA, Kenneth David Lambert, India, Adrian Lynn Lambert, Lake Charles, LA and Douglas Jerard Lambert, Slidell, LA; three sisters, Annabelle Lambert Dwyer, Mandeville, LA, Helen Lambert Ross, Harahan, LA and Edwina Lambert Casey, Clear Lake, FL.; three brothers, Jessie James Lambert, Metairie, LA, Roland Lambert and Charles Lambert, both of Destrehan, LA. Preceded in death by his parents, Paul D. Lambert Sr. and Julia Langhouser Lambert; two brothers, P.D. Lambert Jr. and Edward Lambert, and a sister, Ethel Damar‚. # # #
