Leona Becnel Triche, 86, a native and resident of Taft, LA died 
Saturday, July 1, 2000. She is survived by three sons, L. Taft 
Triche Jr., George C. Triche and Herman J. Triche and one sister, 
Aurore B. Darensbourg.  She was preceded in death by her husband, 
Lucien Taft Triche Sr.; her parents, Maurice George Becnel and 
Elenore Troxler Becnel; two brothers, Morris G. Becnel and Elmore 
J. Becnel; and one sister, Lula B. Haydel. Interment in Holy 
Rosary Cemetery, Taft on Monday, 3 Jul 2000.
