DESTREHAN - Huey Joseph Zeringue, 76, a native and resident of Ama, died Dec. 
24, 2004.

He was the husband of Leola Justin Robert Zeringue, and father of Lisa 
Fontenot, Lori, Valarie, Jan and Danny Zeringue.
He was also the son of the late Aristide and Nellie Dugas Zerigue, and brother 
of the late Thelma, Cyril and Aristide Zeringue Jr.

He was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War. He was a carpenter and farmer 
and helped form the Ama Athetic Association.

Services are today at 10 a.m., at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church, 
Destrehan.
