We are sorry to hear of the illness of Hicks Youngs, Esq., of Boutte.

Miss Susan Arthur and Dempsey Dorsey, two of Hahnville's colored
population were made happy by being united in the Holy Bonds of
Matrimony by Judge Hahn, on last Monday evening, after which they
were treated to a first class charivari by the festive youths of
our town.
