Pipkin Born Dec 6, 1840 Died Mar 16, 1902 "An active member of the Methodist Church for many years, and noted for his many charitable deeds." Rev. Barnabas Pipkin Born Feb 27, 1795 Died May 11, 1878 "He was one of the pioneer Methodist preachers in Mississippi and Louisiana; preached in this state from 1820" (Rev. B. P., W.F.P., H.W.P.) The compiler remembers Miss Anne Pipkin, NM, and Barnabas Pipkin, Jr. The are both buried in this cemetery but there are no markers. Also the marker for Keating is: In memory of our aunt Sarah C. Keating, nee Carson Jan 6, 1816 Jan 26, 1891 "Blessed are the pure in heart for they shall see God" (This marker belongs in the Darlington Methodist Church cemetery where other Carsons are buried.)
