Blades: My note: Presley S. Kemp married first Margaret Killian. I see no graves for them in this cemetery, but in line with Nancy Strickland and the children are five graves marked with iron stakes and it could be these are the other family of Presley. I have not been able to find any more graves for this family. Margaret Killian was born ???; Presley was born Sept. 29, 1827. There are also several other similarly marked graves here. Below are some names I took from the record in 1976 at the time the Revolutionary War marker was installed for Jonathon and I included them on this page because I am assuming they are in this family and I do not know where they are buried. Martha Amelia Kemp married George Womack. He was killed in battle in Jonesboro, Ga., in 1869. Martha married second John M. Tate. Rebecca Kemp married Steve Richardson. Hillary Jackson, s/o Jonathon Joseph Kemp, shows two wives. One statement gives Marginan McMichael and also Catherine Killian, but no dates. Guy Kemp was a bachelor. Jonathon Joseph Kemp married first Susan Richardson and second Molly Richardson. William B. Kemp married Elizabeth Nesom. Thomas Davidson married Annie C. Roberts. The best I am able to estimate there are approximately 25 graves here. I copied this information just as I was able to collect it. I know some of the markers in the cemetery are correct because I visited the cemetery in April, 1977. Signed, Audrey C.
