She states that someone has gone with a bulldozer and has knocked down most of the tombstones and levelled the ground so that, as far as she knows all the graves are covered. She remembers some who were buried there and she gave me this list: Dr. Samuel J. Youngblood was a doctor during the Civil War. Mr. & Mrs. John Bankston, long-time residents of the 3rd Ward. Mrs. Bankston was Mary Nettles. (I think her name was Mary) Dr. --- Woodward who practiced with Dr. Youngblood. Rhoda Ann Youngblood was NM. E.A.R. Youngblood Harvin is buried here and many more whom Mrs. Yarborough cannot remember. Signed: Audrey C. Blades, August 1, 1972 I think that Mr. & Mrs. John Bankston are buried in Grangeville in the Baptist Church Cemetery. ************************************************ File at: http://files.usgwarchives.net/la/sthelena/cemeteries/yblood.txt
