FRED WILSON
1958 - 1963

     Thank you for including Evelyn and me in your history of New
Zion Baptist Church.  We served there from 1958 - 1964.  We have
fond memories of a loving and caring people.  Our oldest children,
Bruce, Dinah, Sharon, Vickey, and Beveraly all started to school at 
the New Zion Elementary School across the road.  Our youngest daugh-
ter, Lauren, was born in 1960 and died suddenly after a brief ill-
ness in 1964.  We will always remember the support and love of the
members of the New Zion Baptist Church at that very difficult time.

     The Lord blessed in many ways during those years, the church
built a new Education Building and a new parsonage, which we en-
joyed very much.

     May God contniue to bless and use the New Zion Baptist Church 
in His service.
