GLEN PUTMAN 1980 - 1982 It was my honor to be the pastor of New Zion from 1980 to 1982. In my tenure the education building was renovated and then the church training program really came alive. The Lord blessed in many ways, but I especially remember that in one three-month span we had 24 baptisms. The funniest thing I remember happening to this Mississippi preacher boy was at my first Brotherhood meeting. I invited the men down to the house for coffee (Mississippi style). One of the men looked at my coffee and said, "I could stand in a fifty-five gallon barrel of this coffee and see a freckle on my toe." May God bless you as you march on for Jesus. Still learning and growing! Yours because I'm His, Brother Glen
