HENRY Z. JENKINS
1870-1871

Henry Jenkins pastored the newly organized church from 1870-1871.
Other information is that he assisted in the ordaining of Samuel
A. Hayden to the ministry at Mt. Nebo on August 5, 1858.  (House
Upon a Rock by Glen Green).  He preached a sermon at Jerusalem
Church, Amite Co., Mississippi on September 4, 1858.  The same
record indicates he received a letter of dismission from Jerusalem
Church, December, 1849.  (Amite County, Ms. - 1699-1865, Casey and
Otken).
