L.E. GREEN
1909 - 1911 & 1930-1933

Rev. Green delivered the memorial service for Grant R. Taylor on
Oct. 15, 1910.  During Rev. Green's second pastorate, he conducted
funeral service for Mrs. Caroline H. Strickland Taylor, the oldest
member of the church, aged 85 years.  Mrs. Taylor had been a mem-
ber since 1870, having transferred her letter from Line Creek.
Mrs. Taylor was always an exemplary member of this church, and
often repeated these words in moral support of the pastor "these
hands will uphold him."
