HELENA BISHOP DUBOURG BOOK "B" PAGE 216 DONATION - GRAVEYARD Be it remembered that on this Fourteenth day of June in the year of our Lord One Thousand Eight Hundred and Twenty-four, before me, L.H. Moore Parish Judge and exoficio Notary Public in and for the Parish and State aforesaid, personally VINCENT SCIVIQUE of the Parish and State aforesaid who produced an instrument of writing in the words and figures following to-wit, On the Seventeenth day of May in the year of our Lord One Thousand Eight Hundred and Twenty-four, we the undersigned being authorized by Bishop Dubourg, have consecrated according to the rules of the Church a graveyard or burying ground situated in the land of Mr. Vincent Scivique one square of ground containing sixty feet on each front which he the said Vincent Scivique abandons and appropriates for the purpose for ever to be there interred all of the corps who may belong to the heir family hereafter mentioned, namely, Alexander Bernaguie, Vincent Scivique and Augustin Gregoire, done and passed in the house of Mr. Vincent Scivique this Twenty- first day of May 1824 in the presence of L.H. Moore, Parish Judge and Exofficio Notary Public in and for the Parish of St. Helena and State of Louisiana and Wm. Watson and Wm. Hodgson have subcribed the same this date above written.
