Bond (Junie) Collins Tillery These were remembered by Zula Tate Braud, Frances George Oliver and Edward Tate. The above listing may not be the order in which they served. The railroad proved to be a great asset to the community because in addition to the hauling of logs and strawberries, there were passenger cars. Zula T. Braud recalls riding the train a few times to Natalbany. The trains were powered by pine knots and with open window the smoke, ash and cinders blew in to "cover the riders". Frances G. Oliver's family would ride the train to Bluff Creek to attend Bluff Creek Camp Meeting. Bill Dykes remembers that as a child when they would be working in a field and when they heard the train approach, all work would cease, they would "line up" by the fence and watch the train go by. ***************
