Adams, a resident of Greensburg, LA, he died at 9:00 p.m. on Monday, August 16, 2010 at his residence. He was born November 28, 1928 in New Orleans, LA and was 81 years of age. Mr. Adams was a U.S. Air Force Veteran of World War II and was stationed in Omaha, Nebraska in Strategic Air Command. He was an active member of American Legion Post #264 in Greensburg. Private Funeral Services were held at Day's United Methodist Church at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, August 20, 2010. Services conducted by Rev. Larry Robertson. Interment Adams Cemetery, Greensburg, LA. Survived by: daughter, Donna Beth Adams Karl and her husband, Daniel Robert Karl, Greensburg, LA; 2 sisters: Gloria Adams Costanza, Hammond, LA and Barbara Adams Swan, Hammond; 3 grandchildren: Sonni Karl King and her husband, Zandt King, Roddy Ernest Adams Karl, and Cassie Mae Karl. Preceded in death by wife, Estelle Celia Roebuck Adams; parents, Martin B. Adams and Nina Day Adams; brother, Irvin Pierce Adams; and sister, Juanita Adams Robinson.
