She was 77, a native of St. Helena Parish and a resident of Roseland. She was the former Pauline Thompson. Body at Childress Funeral Home in Amite until 1:30 p.m. Wednesday. Religious services at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Montpelier Baptist Church, the Rev. Lawrence Randall and Brother Howard Barton officiating. Burial in Montpelier Cemetery. Survived by two sons, Russell Goynes, Baton Rouge, and Francis G. Goynes, Jena; two daughters, Mrs. J. E. (Paula Mae) White, Pinola, Miss., and Mrs. L. M. (Janell) Grunewald, Baton Rouge; a brother, the Rev. O. E.
