RASTUS MILLER died Monday, Jan. 9 at Doctor's Hospital.  He was
69, a native of Washington Parish and a resident of Hillsdale.
Religious services were held at Spring Creek Baptist Church at 
2 p.m. Wednesday.  Burial was in Spring Creek Cemetery.

He is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Betty Maples, Baton Rouge;
one son, Carl Wayne Miller, Chesbrough; one brother, Howard
Miller, Kentwood; 10 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren and
a number of nieces and nephews.  Preceded in death by his wife,
Mrs. Hollie Pittman Miller, and a son, Burlon Miller.
