K. THOMPSON died at 6 a.m. Thursday, July 25, at the Amite Nursing Home. He was 87, a native of St. Helena parish and a resident of Amite. Religious services were held at Hillsdale Baptist Church at 2 p.m. Friday, conducted by the Rev. George W. Hurst. Interment was at Hillsdale Cemetery. He is survived by his wife, the former Lorena Robertson; two sons, Kenion Thompson, Gainsville, Fla., and Jimmie Thompson, Amite; four daughters, Mrs. Arundef McDonald, Livingston; Miss Katie Thompson, Jackson; Mrs. Frances Thomas and Mrs. Austin Casanova, both of Amite; two sisters, Mrs. Annie Morgan, Montpelier, and Mrs. A. D.
