THOMAS E. THOMPSON died at 9:45 a.m. Saturday at Whittington
Nursing Home in Denham Springs.  He was a resident of Pine Grove,
69 years old and a native of Montpelier.  Religious services were
held at Montpelier Baptist Church at 3 p.m. Sunday.  Burial was
in Killian Chapel Cemetery.

He is survived by a half-sister, Mrs. Gladys Mitchell of New
Orleans; a brother, Dewey Thompson of Pine Grove; and two
half-brothers, DeWitt Foster of Texas and Willie Thompson.
