WILMER BRITTON THOMPSON, 70, assistant pastor of Hillsdale Baptist Church, died Tuesday afternoon at Hood Memorial Hospital where he served as chaplain. He was a member of Roseland Baptist Church, a native Louisianan and a resident of Amite. Religious services will be held at Grangeville Baptist Church at 10 a.m. Thursday, conducted by Revs. Lathan Johnson, O. E. Thompson and Louis Strickland. Burial will be in the church cemetery. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Clara Mae Thompson of Amite; a brother, Rev. O. E.
