Entry dated February 20, 1834. Succession of John Youngblood. Heirs of Joshua Youngblood oppose the sale of certain slaves....they were property of Joshua Youngblood and are part of his succession. The slave sale was made as collateral security in consequence of Joshua Youngblood and Richard Williams having been security for Joshua Youngblood for the building of the jail at Montpelier and received by the Commission appointed to contract for the building.
