Mrs. Widow Antoine Guilfoux died at the residence of Mr. P. A. Becnel last Sunday at the advanced age of seventy-eight years. The deceased had been married twice and leaves a posterity which might compare favorably with that of our ancestors of bible times. Her first husband was Mr. Benjamin Borne; of this marriage were born one sone, Mr. Theodule Borne, killed in an affray at Chacahoula, Terrebonne parish, during the late war, and six daughters, all married: Mrs. Amazan Becnel, Pierre Becnel, Octave Becnel, A. Caillier, Hinckley and Lessin LeBlanc. Of the second marriage, was born Mr. Joseph Guilfoux, residing in New Orleans.
