Necrology

After a lingering illness of some two years, Sheriff William J. Hart, of St. 
John the Baptist Parisrh (sic) died at his home Thursday.

Sheriff Hart was a prominen (sic) figure in the political history of his native 
Parish' having served as Deputy Sheriff, Clerk of Court Representative and 
Sheriff, the latter position he had just recently been reelected to a second 
term.

Mr. Hart leaves a widow and a number of children as well as a large number of 
relatives and friends by legion to mourn his loss and the Parish of St. John 
ane (sic) of its stalwart and foremost citizens.

To the family and friends we extend our sympathetic wishes.

Interment was held at the St Peter's Cemetery on Friday at 9 o'clock A. M.
