A native of Reserve and a resident of Baton Rouge since 1942, he died at his home Sunday evening, Jan. 13, 2002. He was 87 and had retired from Ethyl Corp. in 1977 after 34 years of service. Visiting was at Welsh Funeral Home, 6700 Florida Blvd., from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Tuesday, with a rosary service at 6:30 p.m. Visiting at St. Jude Catholic Church from 9:30 a.m. until Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday. Burial in Resthaven Gardens of Memory. He is survived by his wife, Frances Barbier Williams; a son, Lloyd F. Williams and wife Ursula; a daughter, Janet Dubuc and husband Allen; a son, Harold Williams and wife Pattie; a daughter, Anne Cifreo and husband Gerard; a daughter-in-law, Marie Williams; a brother, Allen Williams Sr.; two sisters, Marguerite Talley and Audrey Bienvenu; 19 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his mother, Merceé Duhe Williams; father, Octave Williams; a son, Mark L. Williams; three brothers, Antoine, Sidney and Roy Williams; and two sisters, Marie Benoit and June Wilson. He was a member of St. Jude Catholic Church. # # #
