LANDRY.--Mr. Bihm is a native of St. Landry parish, born in 1859. He is the son of M. and I. (Lovell) Bihm, both natives of Louisiana. Young Lewis had limited opportunities for an education as a boy, but made the best of them. He chose as his vocation farming, which he has followed up to the present time. He has a nice little plantation of about two hundred and fifty acres of prairie and woodland, on which he has good improvements and raises cotton and corn. He married, December 29, 1879, Leda McClennon, a native of St. Landry. To this union has been born three children, James, Isoline and Jewel.
