Littell, M. D., is a Louisianian by birth, having been born in Opelousas, May 13, 1866. He is a son of Robert H. and Arietta (Campbell) Littell. Dr. Littell prepared for college in the public and private schools of Opelousas; subsequently he took a two years' course in Vanderbilt University. After completing his literary education, Dr. Littell studied medicine for one year under the tutorage of his father, when he entered the medical department of Tulane University, graduating in 1888. Immediately upon the completion of his course he began the practice of his profession in Opelousas, where he has since continued with success. He married, in 1888, Miss Altha Reynolds, daughter of E.
