[Cover page] Probate No. 925 Probate Court St. Landry Parish Estate of: Michel O'Connor Filed Oct. 1839 [Page 0ne] State of Louisiana Parish of S Landry Being hereto request by the interested I, George King, parish Judge & ex officio auctioneer in and for the aforesaid Parish have this day the first of October in the year one thousand eight hundred and thirty nine, proceed to the last residence of the late Michael O Connor deceased situate in said Parish and distant about twelve miles from the court house, in order to sell at public auction the property belonging to the succession of said deceased, payable as follows, towit, the land, one third on the fifteenth day of April next, one third on the fifteenth day of April in the year one thousand eight hundred & forty one and the remaining third on the fifteenth day of April in the year one thousand eight hundred and forty two; purchaser giving approved personal security & the land remaining mortgaged until the entire payment of the purchase money & the interest which may accrue thereon, is being stipulated that all sums not punctually paid will bear interest at ten per cent from maturity- and the moveable property, one half on the fifteenth day of April next, and the other half on the fifteenth day of April in the year one thousand and eight hundred & forty one with security & interest as aforesaid, the terms & conditions having been proclaimed aloud to the people in attendance and the sale having been advertised according to law we have proceeded as follows, towit, ___ First - A horse sold to Leanore Paupon Pitre for forty seven dollars. $47.00 Paid.
