All rights reserved. http://usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://usgwarchives.net/la/lafiles.htm ********************************************** Antoine Dupré Inventory Parish of Saint Landry May 26th 1810 = I George King Judge of the Parish aforesaid this day proceeded to the last residence of the late Antoine Dupré decd to take an Inventory & estimation at the request of the Widow Eugenie Dupré to take an inventory & estimation of the effects of the said Dupré and thereto have with the consent of the widow nominated and appointed Etien Lamorandier, Louis Carrier and Joseph Andrepont who after being duly [sworn] appraised as follows, to wit== First a negro man named Baptiste about thirty years of age appraised at six hundred dollars 600 2nd - a negro woman named Fanny about twenty two years old with her two children (to wit) a mulatto Boy named David about three years old & a negro girl three months old not yet named , together 900 3rd Two Bay horses appraised together at eighty dollars 80 4th Two ditto sorrel appraised at seventy five dollars 75 5th One sorrel appraised at forty dollars 40 6th The plantation whereon the deceased last resided containing six hundred superficial arpens adjoining the lands Louis Marie Glaude Pierre Fauret appraised with its appurtenances at three hundred fifty dollars 350 7th Four cows & calves appraised together at forty eight dollars 48 8th Two Cows without calves appraised at eighteen dollars 18 9th Five yearlings appraised together at twenty dollars 20 10th The Cattleof the Vacherie of the late decd quantity not ascertained appraised one with another or at an average of six dollars each memoir 11th A Quantity of horses mares & Colts at the vacherie of the decd the quality as well as the number, not being known to the appraisers are not as present appraised memoir 12 one horse cart appraised at ten dollars 10 13 a Plough with its stock appraised at thirteen dollars 13 14 A Fusil appraised at twenty dollars 20 15 Seven iron pots appraised together at four dollars 4 There appearing no other property belonging to the Estate we have closed the present inventory amounting Exclusive of the objects inserty [sic] by way of memorandum to two thousand one hundred and ninety eight dollars- In witness whereof the Appraisers widow and assisting witnesses have hereunto signed their names the day and year first above written ---Lamorandiere fils = Jacques Dupré = L Carriere = J.
