The amount of the sale of the estate and effects in community between Sylvain Saunier and the heirs of his deceased wives, towit, Melite Comeax the first and Judique Bello the second --------------- $3332.75 There it is proper to observe that the children of the first wife claim the whole of the property, stating that their deceased mother brought into the community when she married their father a larger sum. Sylvain Saunier has received the following sums, towit: received and collected by him $180.00 his purchases at sale $287.25 the sum recd. from Joseph Saunier who administered the estate $3.50 $470.75 Due to him $166.23 1/4 $636.98 1/4 Louis Saunier has received from Joseph the sum $130.00 his purchases at sale $270.75 $400.75 Due to him $236.23 1/4 $636.98 1/4 Gilbert Saunier has received his purchases at sale $1000.00 his share of the estate $636.98 1/4 Due by him $363.01 3/4 He will therefore pay to Sylvain Saunier $166.22 3/4 and to Louis Saunier $196.89 $363.01 3/4 Now --- Sylvain Saunier having recd. the sum of $470.75 his share will be completed by the rect. of this sum from Gilbert $166.23 1/4 $636.98 1/4 And Louis Saunier having received the sum of $400.73 his share will be completed by the rect. of this sum from Gilbert $196.89 and this sum from Joseph Saunier who has managed the estate $39.36 1/4 $636.98 1/4 The said Sylvain, Joseph, Louis and Gilbert Saunier do hereby consent to, ratify and confirm the above and foregoing settlement and partition of the Estate of their decd. mother in all its parts and have hereunto signed in presence of Wm Moore and George R. Sylvain Saunier, Jr. married first Humilde Comeaux (daughter of Charles Comeaux and Anastasie Savoie) and secondly Judith Bello. Sylvain Sonnier, Jr. was the son of Sylvain Saunier, Sr. and Madeleine Bourg. Sylvain Saunier, Sr. is a recognized DAR Patriot of Louisiana.
