Name:               Therese Martin Simien

Below is an article on property bought by Therese Martin Simien in 1873.

On February 7, 1873 Therese Martin Simien bought a piece of property (town
lot in Washington) from Celeste Garland Lastrapes, through her agent Henry L
 Garland.  Price was $600.00  Original Act #12540, Conveyance Book A-2, p.
69.  The property location was described as:  bounded north by Garrigus
(Garrique) Street, So. By St. Michael (Mitchell) Street, East by property of
Mrs Wm Reid, and west by Bridge Street.  Probate document dated 1876 stated
property was worth $350.00, with buildings and improvements, appraised
December 22, 1876.
