January 11, 1862, Page 2 January 11, 1862 Judicial sale at auction, On Saturday, the 18th January next, 1862, at 1 o'clock in the afternoon, at the domicil of Mrs. Widow Alexander Rosas Jr., in Prairie Faquataique, in the Parish of St. Landry, of the property belonging to the estate in community between Alexandre Rosas, deceased, and his surviving widow, Clementine Fontenot, to wit: A TRACT OF LAND, situated in prairie Faquataique, parish of St. Landry, measuring about fifty superficial arpents, bounded on the North by Coopwood, on the Soouth by the Widow of Alexander Rosas Sr., on the West by lands belonging to the Widow and heirs of Hildevert Rosas, together with a dwelling house, out houses and other improvements. Horned cattle, horse creatures, hogs; Household furniture, kitchen utensils, plantation implements and other articles. Terms and conditions: - All sums of five dollars or under, payable on the 1st of April 1863, and all sums upwards of five dollars payable one half on the 1st of April 1863, with interests at the rate of 8 per cent per annum, from time due until paid.
