KILLED BY LIGHTING. - On Thursday of last week, Mr. Balthazar Marks, residing 
near Grand Coteau, was overtaken in the Prairie by a thunder storm and shower. 
Spurring his horse, he galloped to a large tree under which he sought shelter. 
He had not been there long when the lighting struck him and his horse, killing 
both instantly.
