Capt. Feray writes to us from on board the steamer Munic, on Old River, under 
date 29th ult.: "Please announce in your paper that Desire Guidry, a member of 
Company G, St. Landry Regiment, has suddenly disappeared since last night. He 
was sick and the supposition is that he is drowned."
