ST. LANDRY
 On Friday, the 3d inst., Ernest Faselier died at his residence in
Chataignier, from the effects of a wound received in the head, inflicted, it
is thought, by a young man named Emmanuel Manuel, while at a wedding at the
house of Joseph Fontenot, on June 9th last.  – Courier.
