PUBLIC SALE.

Estate of Alex. Bte. Fontenot pere, deceased.

The public are hereby informed that there will be sold at public sale, to the 
last and highest bidder, by the undersigned, a public Auctioneer in and for the 
Parish of St. Landry, at the residence of Jean Pierre Lafleur, at Chataignier, 
in this parish, On Thursday, 9th day of March next, 1854, the following 
described property, belonging to the Estate of Alex. Bte. Fontenot pere, 
deceased, to wit:

A Negroman, named Baptiste, aged about 46 years, and a few moveable property.

CONDITIONS:- The negroman payable at one year's credit, from the 1st of April 
next, 1854, the moveable property payable on the 1st of April next, 1854.
