A shooting affray occurred at a dance at the home of Ernest Fruge, in St. Landry 
parish, during the course of which Meas Fontenot was instantly killed, Levy 
Fontenot, his brother, probably fatally wounded, and Sosthene Brown, a bystander, 
slightly injured.
