The Opelousas Courier March 25, 1876
We learn that a personal rencontre took place a few days ago in Ville Plate 
Prairie, between Henry Bogard and Lucien Chatman, both parties using knives, in 
which the latter died from the wounds received in the affray.

Henry Bogard was the son of Michel Bogard & Anastsie Ritter
