MELANCHOLY OCCURRENCE. - Mr. James Besson, of this place, a highly deserving 
young man, and nephew to our sheriff, M. Bourg, Esq., was instantly killed 
from being kicked in the breast by a horse on Wednesday last. Truly may it be 
said that "in the midst of life we are in death." - Minerva
