The public are hereby informed that there will be sold at public sale, to the last and highest bidder, by the undersigned, before the Court-House door, in the Town of Opelousas, on Wednesday, 23rd Feruary next, the following described property, belonging to the Succession of Joseph Bereier, late of the Parish of St. Landry, to wit: The undivided fourth part of a certain Fraction of Land, situated in the Town of Washington, measuring three superficial arpents, (more or less) bounded on one side by J. Vial Gerard, and on the other side by Adolphe Garrigues, on the upper side by said Garrigues, and on the lower side by Bayou Courtableau, being the lot No. seventy-one on the plat of the land of Francois Corso, made by Louis Banchakowich, Parish Surveyor. Also, the undivided fourth part of Two Lots of Ground, situated in said Town of Washington, designated on the plan aforenamed as Lots No. seventy and seventy-one, bounded on one side by Adolphe Garrigues, and on the other side by Corso Street, together with A TAN YARD, AND ALL ITS APPURTENANCES. The undivided sixth part of a certain lot of GROUND and fraction of a Lot, situated in the aforesaid Town of Washington, in the Parish of St. Landry, and being numbers one and eight of the plan of said Town, together with all the BUILDINGS AND IMPROVEMENTS thereon erected and thereto appertaining. 4 SLAVES, of both sexes and different ages. One lot of lumber, one Buggy, one gun, and other articles. TERMS AND CONDITIONS. --- The immoveable property payable in one and two years credit from the day of sale. The slaves and moveable property payable on a credit of one year. Purchasers furnishing security in solido, to the satisfaction of the Administrators of said estate, and moreover the property subject to mortgage remaining specially hypothecated unto said estate until full and entire payment of principal and interest which may accrue thereon at the rate of 8 per cent per annum from time date.
