A RUN AWAY IN JAIL

WAS COMMITTED into the jail of the Parish of St. Landry, on the 7th of 
November 1852, a runaway negro calling himself HENRY, and saying 
he belongs to a certain John H. Harris, residing on Bayou Sale, in the 
Parish of St. Mary, from whom he ran away bout the 20th of October last.

Henry is about 35 years old, five feet 6 inches high, of a copper color, 
and speaks english.

The owner is hereby requested to come forward, prove property, pay charges
and take him away, otherwise he will be disposed of according to law.
