Dr. Fontenot, a former resident of Mamou and resident of Baton Rouge, died Friday, July 10, 1998, in Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center in Baton Rouge. The Rev. Bill Jacobs will conduct the services. Mrs. Ganson, a lifelong resident of Palmetto died at 3:55 a.m. Saturday, July 25, 1998, at her daughter's residence in Slidell. She is the beloved mother of Mrs. Charles G. Chautin of Slidell. She was a devoted homemaker and was a member of the Order of the Easter Star and a lifelong member of the Palmetto Methodist Church. Mrs. Ganson is survived by four grandchildren and five great grandchildren. She was preceeded in death by her husband Willam Robert Ganson, her parents Wesley and Aldia Soileau Budden, her brothers Wesley Budden, Mark Budden, Allen Budden, and her sisters Clarice B. Charles, Bertha B. Carriere and Blanch B. Williams. Visiting hours will be observed from 12 p.m. until the time of the service Monday. Lee Chapter No. 170, O.E.S., Ethel Gilmore Heroines of Jericho, commander of the Right No. 330, grand master emeritus, senior grand chaplin emeritus, retired pastor in emeritus of Warren United Methodist Church of Lake Charles and a retired teacher. Rev. Harry was the first black to be hired in the state of Louisiana as construction inspector for the Farmers Home Administration and was listed in Who's Who in the United Methodist Church. Survivors include his wife, Debra Rideau Harry of Opelousas; a son, Raymond Earl Harry of Beltsville, Md.; and a stepson, Gregory Campbell of Opelousas; a step granddaughter, Tiana Campbell of Opelousas; four sisters, Mae Francis Abraham and Ida Mae Greene, both of New Orleans, Annie B. Clark of Angie and Arlene Scott of Venice, Calif. He also leaves to mourn his mother-in-law, Emma C. Mallet Jr., 69, will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday in the Kutis Funeral Home Chapel with burial in the St. Louis Cemetery. Monsignor Charles J. Mallet of Lafayette will officiate. Mr. Mallet, a native of Lafayette, died following a lengthy illness at 2:40 p.m. Saturday, July 11, 1998, in a St. Louis hospital. The son of the late Eno J. Mallet Sr. and Jeanne Landry Mallet of Lafayette, Mr. Mallet was a 1945 graduate of Cathedral High School and a 1956 graduate of the University of Southwestern Louisiana, where he received a degree in petroleum engineering. For more than 35 years, he was employed by McDonald-Douglas Corp. in its aeronautical mapping and charting divison. Mr. Mallet was a parishoner of both St. David and Immaculate Conception Catholic Church parishes in Arnold, Mo. Survivors include his wife, Emma Whitsitt of Arnold, Mo.; four sons, Rick A. Mallet, Todd J. Mallet and his wife, Chrissy, Christopher J. Mallet, his wife, Julie, and their twin sons, Riley and Tyler, all of Ballwin, Mo., and Gary J. Mallet and his wife, Diane, of Cary, N.C.; mother, Jeanne L. Mallet of Lafayette; brother, Monsignor Charles J. Mallet of Lafayette; maternal aunt, Louise L.
