He was a veteran of World War II having served in the Eight Air Force 385 Bomb Group of the Army Air Cops and a former POW. Mr. Manouvrier retired from Gulf Oil Company Refinery in Krotz Springs after 35 years as a supervisor of the clerical department. Survivors include: his wife, Mrs. Rebecca Wolff Manouvrier of Opelousas; a son, Paul J. Morris Services brought a labor pool of workers from Opelousas to Lake Charles on a daily schedule. He retired in Long Beach, Calif., from the construction industry.
