Ford and Joseph Funeral Home of Opelousas is in charge of arrangements.   Miriam Barnett Doherty Funeral services are scheduled for 10 a.m. Monday at Our Lady Queen of Angels Catholic Church for Miriam Barnett Doherty, 78, a native of Opelousas who died Friday, April 30, 1999, at her residence. Burial will follow in Bellevue Memorial Park. Bishop Michael Jarrell and the Rev. Angelo Cremaldi will officiate. Visitation will be from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. Sunday and from 8 a.m. until time for services Monday. A rosary will be recited at 6:30 p.m. Sunday. She is survived by three sons, James P. Doherty Jr., Patrick Allen Doherty and John Francis Doherty, all of Opelousas; two daughters, Mrs. Frank (Mary) LeBleau of Scott and Mrs. Richard (Miriam) Bourgeois of Lafayette; one sister, Mrs. Allen Hynson, 11 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. She was a graduate of Southwest Louisiana Institute (now the University of Southwestern Louisiana), a member of Our Lady Queen of Angels Roman Catholic church and a recipient of the Bishop's Medal. She was also active in Scouting and the Academy of the Immaculate Conception Parents' Organization. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Paul Doherty, and her parents Jesse and Marie Poulet Barnett. Mr. Muller, a resident of Opelousas and a native of Washington, died at 7 a.m. Tuesday, May 4, 1999, at his residence. He and his wife, Dena, owned and operated Muller's Real Estate Co. in Opelousas for many years. He was a retired teacher and asst. director at T.H. Harris Tech. College after 25 years of service. Mr. Muller was a World War II veteran having served in the U.S. Army. He was an avid Ham Radio Operator for many years and belonged to the local and State Amateur Ham Radio Operators Clubs. Mr. Muller graduated from LSU as an Electrical Engineer. Survivors include: his wife, Mrs. Dena Dejean Muller of Opelousas; two sons, Stan Muller and wife Billy Jo of Washington and Herbert A. "Scotty" Muller Jr. and wife Joni of Opelousas; two daughters, Ms. Pat Muller of Baton Rouge and Mrs. Gene (Lisa) Roberie of Ville Platte; a brother, Lawrence Muller Jr. of Gulfport, Miss.; a sister, Mrs. Laura Louise Rue of Lafayette; and six grandchildren. Mr. Perrodin, a resident of Sunset, died Thursday, May 6, 1999, in L.S.U. Medical Center in Lafayette. He served in the U.S. Army Reserve and the Louisiana National Guard. Mr. Perrodin was a supervisor at Beau Chene's Restaurant in Grand Coteau. He also spent 20 years in the oilfield business and spent his young years on the family farm, helping his father run a dairy. He was a veteran of the military having served in the U.S. Army during World War II under General Patton in the "Hell on Wheels" 2nd armored division. McKeithen to serve on the Board of Alcoholic and Beverage Control. He also is a retired member of the La. Horsemen's Association, having been an owner, breeder and trainer of thoroughbred horses. He was a life-long resident of Opelousas as were his parents and grandparents. Harold resided at the Ray Homestead which his great-grandfather built for his bride in 1853. The home, which Harold purchased in 1935, has always remained in his family and it served as the Medical Center for the Ninth Brigade of the Louisiana Militia during the Civil War. Harold served overseas for 33 months during World War II. During that time he was stationed at various areas in Europe, Asia, Africa, Australia and the United States. He had served as president of the Opelousas New Car Dealers Association and was a Board Member of the St. Landry Preservationist Society. Mr. Comeau was preceded in death by his wife of 42 years, Clara Joyce Bordelon; his only daughter, Loretta Ray Comeau Walet; his parents, Arthur Alexander Comeau and Margaret Mitchell Mornhinveg Comeau; a brother, Arthur Alexander Comeau Jr.; and a sister, Catherine Maxine Comeau.
